ANPB FirstPoint Technologies Private Limited, operating as FirstPoint Studios ("we", "us", or "our"), operates the PokerEdge mobile application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect
- Account Information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account. This is used to create and identify your PokerEdge account.
- Session Data. Poker session details you enter (buy-in, blinds, player count, hands played, stack sizes, and session results) are stored locally on your device and synced to our cloud backend for backup and cross-device access.
- Camera Data. The App uses your device camera solely for the card-scanning feature. Camera frames are processed entirely on your device using on-device machine learning models. Camera images are never transmitted to our servers, never stored remotely, and never shared with third parties.
- Usage and Diagnostic Data. We collect app usage events (such as screens viewed and features used) and crash diagnostics to improve stability and performance. This data is linked to your account — it includes your user ID, name, and email address, and is therefore not anonymous. It does not include the contents of your poker sessions.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the App's functionality
- To sync your session data across your devices
- To understand how the App is used, so we can improve it
- To diagnose crashes and fix bugs
- To send important service-related communications
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your session data is stored locally on your device in a SQLite database managed by the App, and synced to Supabase, a cloud platform with row-level security policies configured so that only your account can access your records. Data in transit is protected using HTTPS/TLS.
Please note: the local on-device database is not separately encrypted by the App beyond the protections your device's operating system provides (such as Android's full-disk or file-based encryption). If your device is unlocked and compromised, local session data could be accessible.
4. Third-Party Services
The App relies on the following third-party service providers. Each processes data on our behalf and operates under its own privacy policy:

5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We share data only with the service providers listed in Section 4, and only to the extent necessary for them to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information where required to do so by law or valid legal process.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data for as long as you maintain an active account.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing support@firstpointstudios.com from the email address associated with your account. We will action verified deletion requests within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your account record and synced session data from our cloud backend; data held in crash and analytics systems is deleted in line with those providers' retention schedules.
You may also clear all locally-stored data at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing its storage in your device settings.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct inaccurate data, to request deletion, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact support@firstpointstudios.com. For users in India, this address also serves as our contact point for grievances under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Camera Permission
The App requests camera access only for the card-scanning feature. You may deny or revoke this permission at any time through your device settings. Denying camera access disables only the scanning feature — all other App functionality remains available.
10. International Data Transfers
Our service providers may process and store data on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States and the European Union. Where such transfers occur, we rely on the safeguards offered by those providers.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and through the App. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
