A studio of
engineers who
ship on paper too.
FirstPoint Studios was founded in 2026 by two engineers who met building research projects, and decided to turn the same rigor on commercial work.
We were tired of
studios that hand it off.
We met as two engineering students who kept ending up on the same research papers and the same late-night builds. By the time graduation came we'd shipped four real products for real clients — and watched every one of them get handed off to a cheaper agency that didn't understand the system.
So in early 2026 we started FirstPoint as an experiment: a studio that would own the work from brief to operations, and refuse to take on a project we couldn't support ten years later. Four enterprise clients and nine shipped projects later, we're still holding that line.
We're a small studio — a fifteen-person team of engineers and designers — but every engagement is led by one of the co-founders. If you hire FirstPoint, you get FirstPoint, not a junior-offshore sandwich with a senior-partner photo on the proposal.
Four non-negotiables.
We wrote these down on day one. They've decided who we hire, who we fire, and which projects we've walked away from.
Own the outcome.
We don't do "we built it, you maintain it." If it ships on our watch, it runs on our watch — for as long as you want us there.
Write it down.
Decisions live in documents, not memory. Our retros, specs, and design briefs are written, archived, and searchable for you too.
Say no early.
If the brief is wrong, we say so in week one. We'd rather kill a $100k engagement than ship a project neither of us is proud of.
Compound rigor.
Every project makes the next one better — we ship internal tools, templates and research back into the studio every quarter.
Two founders.
Two disciplines.
Every engagement at FirstPoint is led by one of us. Both have published peer-reviewed work and shipped production software at scale.
Aditya Nittala
Leads engineering, platform and AI. Previously shipped NLP systems for a Series-B fintech and has three peer-reviewed papers in applied ML and systems.
Priyanshu Bawse
Leads robotics, firmware and field-deployed systems. Published at IROS and COMPASS; runs our drone and agri-sensing research track.
Studio at a glance.
The numbers that actually matter — operating model, team, geography, and how to reach us.
